Birds with Top-hats

Gosh, it seems like I've been really into prints which feature some form of animal or another. This sleeveless top has the cutest water-color-like bird print throughout, and some of the birds are wearing top-hats! My mom got me this tuxedo ruffled jacket for my birthday and I just adore it. It goes with everything!

Birds Top: Blush
Camisole: BP

Classic Separates: The Vintage 1950's I.Magnin Spring Jacket

Sunshine rays were streaming through every fold in my shutters this morning, and from the moment that I awoke I had this jacket on my mind. It's a thick, stiff wool: lovely and warm, but it doesn't really wear well once summer is upon us, so I've got to get a good use in while I can. Vintage 1950's I.Magnin, with contrasting cream piping, and adorable covered buttons, the jacket is one of the most versatile spring jacket that I have ever owned.
Somehow, without even being conscious of it, I have grown a small collection of designer vintage scarves. This menswear ascot is one of my favorites because of its versatile color, and classic print.
Outfit Details:
Yellow Waistcoat: Vintage 1950's I.Magnin
Navy Blouse: H&M
Denim: Banana Republic
Scarf: Vintage Valentino
Shoes: Sam Edelman
Bracelet: Birthday Gift
Earrings: Lucky
Ring: Street Vendor

Rorschach Pony Print Trench and Comfortable Flats (At Last!)

Hello! It feels like forever since I've done an outfit post. Between the inclimate weather and catching a cold, I didn't have many options but to stay indoors and recuperate. It feels great to be out again, and with the unpredictable spring weather abound, I've been into dressing for comfort by wearing layered outfits that revolve around an overcoat of some sort.
I fell in love with the subtle pony print of this trench. The rorschach effect is pretty nifty, don't you think?
I think I may have found my first pair of comfortable, walkable flats. They've got a sequin and satin look, but the cushiness of a tennis shoe. I would rather that the little silver logo have been more inconspicuous, but given that I could walk for miles in these things, it's entirely forgivable.
Outfit Details:
Rorschach Trench: Vertigo
Camisole: Kimchi and Blue
Cigarette Pants: Michael Kors
Shoes: Fila
Sunglasses: Moschino
Purse: LAMB
Rings: Marc Jacobs

Jean-Charles de CASTELBAJAC A/W 2011

I've got a shop update chock full of surprises for you, but I've been under the weather all weekend. I won't complain about being stuck in bed, though, because it's been the perfect weekend to catch up on all of the runway show highlights I've been aching to see. How tailored, yet playful is is collection? I've only picked twenty of my favorite looks from the Autumn Winter 2011 collection (surprised I chose so much plaid?), but you should really see some of the more spectacular ensembles here. What showmanship, by golly - and where can I find that lovely orange-red shade of lipstick that seems to be ever popular these days? Oh, and how adorable are the 101 Dalmatian novelty print pieces? I'm won over!
