The Emma Domb Dress

This gown is a beauty, and completely deserving of her own post. I do boast a few fantastic American designers in my shop, but this dress is something I'd like to keep for my own future collection. Emma Domb, a San Francisco based dressmaking company that was active from the late 1930's through the 1970's, specialized in occasion and party dresses. Her dresses have a special appeal and run the gamut from highly stylized, to simple and understated. Some of her popular silhouettes have become quite coveted amongst vintage collectors, and with the durable materials and high quality construction, it is easy to see why. This 1950's/1960's wedding gown is extremely well made, in clean condition, and without tears or flaws. In a warm and radiant off-white, with scalloped lace trim and a tiered Watteau train, the dress is a simple and elegant connection to the distinguishable designs of yesteryear. It will be posted in the shop this week, in the meantime, please double click on any image to view an enlarged version of it.

Hi there, could you recommend a veil that would go nicely with this dress?
