Day 19: 'School Spirit' in my Vintage 1950's Day Dress

 

You couldn't have imagined my delight when I opened up my parcel and found this number! Not only does it have a lovely 1950's silhouette, the sweetest peter pan collar, and fits me like a dream- but the criss-crossing woven grids are precisely the colors of my college alma mater (GO BRUINS!)! If you hadn't known, I am an avid sports fan; yes, I cheer and root with the best of them, but I'm always looking for my own way to show team spirit. This will be perfect for watching college games, and certainly a unique change from the typical oversize jersey.

Day 17: Sweet Sunlight in the Mini 70's Day Dress

My goodness the sunlight was hazy and beautiful, and how could I resist a vintage floral day dress with all that gorgeous light? This vintage homemade dress was made to float and flutter- so simple, so sweet.

Day 3: Cranberry Trench Dress

My apologies for a lapse in outfit posts. I had a freakishly hectic day (including locking my car keys in the trunk of my car!), and although I photographed my outfit, by the time I got home I was too tired to sort through them. I will post yesterday's outfit later on in the series, but I wanted to make sure that I got today's dress in because I think it's color is perfect for the holidays. This isn't a vintage dress, but it wears like one with all the pleating and darting.
